The original version was first recorded by the Bulgarian female choir, "The Mystery of The Bulgarian Voices" in the 1950's. Since, it has been performed in Europe, Japan and the United States.

Dr. Dobri Paliev's version of this chorale, has very little to do with the original arrangement with the exception of the theme. The corpus is consonant and covers the entire range of the instrument including a variety of styles.
